Augmenters Artist Residency

The Augmenters artist residency is ideally located in the town of Riogordo, about a 35-minute drive from downtown Málaga and the airport. The residency is situated in Plaza de la Constitución, directly in front of the town hall, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a bus stop.
​
This approximately 200 m² three-story traditional Andalusian village house has been beautifully restored, combining the charm of a traditional white village house with modern comforts. The residency offers an inspiring environment where vintage furniture, art, and modern elements create a cozy and creativity-enhancing atmosphere.

Gallery and Meeting Room: The multifunctional space on the ground floor serves as a gallery, meeting and training space, and dining area. It is equipped with a projector, screen, sound system, and microphones. A long table provides seating for 14 people.

Living Room: The spacious and bright living room on the second floor features a high vaulted ceiling and traditional mud walls.

Bedrooms (3-4): Accommodation capacity for 8 people.

Workspace: A separate workspace on the ground floor provides a quiet area for focused work.

Kitchens: The fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor includes modern appliances such as a dishwasher and refrigerator, and opens onto a large terrace. Upstairs, a smaller bar kitchen is ideal for preparing drinks and snacks.

Terraces: A spacious, partially covered terrace on the ground floor and a terrace on the upper floor, divided into two levels.

Library Room: The library room next to the living room can also serve as an additional bedroom if needed.

WC and Shower Facilities: Modern WC and shower facilities are available on both the ground and upper floors.

Attic Bedroom: The top floor features a spacious bedroom with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

There are several hiking trails, with the most famous ones running through the Montes de Málaga National Park and the El Torcal Natural Park. The landscapes and cultural richness of Riogordo make it the ideal place for artistic work and creative relaxation.
