About the Association
Augmenters is a non-profit cultural association based in Andalusia, Spain. We develop cultural and educational projects that foster creativity, inclusion, and social responsibility, working across local and international contexts.

Our work brings together artists, educators, and cultural practitioners from diverse fields to collaborate on projects that support cultural exchange, community engagement, and international cooperation.

We organize exhibitions at the Riogordo Ethnographic Museum and other locations, art courses, and an annual photography competition accompanied by workshops and exhibitions, working in close collaboration with the Municipality of Riogordo and local cultural institutions.
Our work focuses on cultural collaboration, artistic exchange, and the preservation of local Andalusian heritage, while contributing to a broader European cultural dialogue.

Augmenters is dedicated to promoting equality, empowering women and young people, and supporting initiatives related to culture, digitalisation, and sustainable development. As part of this commitment, we run an artist residency program that offers space for exploration, creation, and meaningful connection.

In addition to local cultural initiatives, Augmenters develops and participates in long-term European cooperation projects, including LEADER-funded initiatives and other EU-supported programmes.
The association is currently involved in a multi-year cultural project as part of the European Capital of Culture framework, in cooperation with international partners.

Augmenters applies for and hosts Erasmus+ projects and participant groups. The association operates both as a sending and receiving organisation and cooperates with European partners in the fields of art, culture, and education.
